Light sport stick-and-rudder fun
A sporty blast from the past. This Aeronca Champ is a civilian conversion from the military-produced L-16A. The Champ is most at home flying low-and-slow, landing on grass or turf runways. Flying the Champ requires a tailwheel endorsement in addition to a check-out with a club approved instructor.
The Champ has a basic VFR panel, auxiliary fuel tank, and electrical system and starter (more unique than it sounds for this vintage). The Champ is NOT ADS-B equipped.
