Hello club,
Here's the latest: The C172 is nearing completion and we expect to have it ready after Thanksgiving. The motor mount had to be rebuilt from scratch, and the new engine is in but it still needs to get hooked up. We then need to break it in before allowing the full club to fly the 172 again.
We had some delay hearing back from the FAA for permission to ferry the Champ to the shop, but we finally took it over yesterday. Thanks to the Maddoxes and Beaux for coordinating! We expect the annual to take place by the end of the month.
